Just a swipe to shock them). My sister let's them get away with anything while Im doing everything a parent would do for them but just getting walked all over and disrespected.

But their not MY children so I can really do any of that (btw I don't believe in unnecessary beating.

Now I come from a family where if you really overstepped the line you got a swipe round the back of the head or on the bum.

They'll run away or sit there all day, they don't care.

It's getting way out of hand now that the punishments don't work.

They just seem to try and push every button and every boundary.

Over the past year their behaviour has just got worse and worse (I'm around them nearly every day). They never do as they are asked, they answer back, they run away when you try to punish them, they hit each other, they try to hurt the pet cats.
