I am not comfortable doing this because I feel like her mother is projecting her troubles onto us and I do not want her to think that we are her safety net if she screws up and ends up broke again.

I on the other hand have a decent job and I am financially sound, my issue is that this whole plan of theirs was presented to me almost as if they were implying that I would be the one to either get the loan or cosign it with my GF.
