I don't want her to be my girlfriend during this time because I want her to be able to date around and experience all kinds of guys, but I want to become extremely good friends if that's even possible in a year.

I only have a year before I go to serve an LDS mission for two years and in that time I would like to make a good impression so hopefully when I get back (is she's not married) we could feel comfortable enough to date.
